Kat von D: True Romance Eyeshadow Palette

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you a review I´ve been wanting to do for quite some time. It´s about one of the Kat von D eyeshadow palettes. Kat von D is an amazing tattooist and a couple of years ago she came up with an amazing makeup collection for Shepora, which unfortunately, can only be found in the US. ¡Hola a todo el mundo! Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros una reseña muy especial que llevo queriendo hacer desde hace bastante tiempo sobre una de las paletas de sombras de Kat von D. Kat von D es una tatuadora a la que admiro desde hace mucho tiempo. Hace un par de años creó una impresionante colección de maquillaje para Sephora, que lamentablemente, sólo puede encontrarse en Estados Unidos. Si queréis saber más sobre ella, seguir leyendo :)

I think the packaging of these palettes is slightly different now, because I´ve had this palette for some time, but you can still find very similar colours. The reason why I wanted to do this review it´s because I can say these are the best eyeshadows I´ve ever tried (and I have a lot :p).

Creo que estas paletas ya no tienen esta misma presentación, pero aún pueden encontrarse prácticamente los mismos tonos de sombras. La razón por la que quería hacer esta reseña es porque puedo decir que estas son las mejores sombras que he probado (y tengo muchas :P).

I think that this palette in particular is perfect for creating makeup looks for green eyes. It´s divided in two parts: the green shadows and the bronze ones, both designed to create a perfect smoky eye. Both parts come with three metallic eyeshadows (one for the lid, another for the crease, a highlighting eyeshadow), and a very dark matte one, to add more definition to the eyes. The eyeshadows are silky, the pigmentation is beyond amazing, and the colours are just gorgeous. They are very easy to blend, and create clean transitions without loosing colour. I´ve created the most beautiful smoky eyes with this eyeshadows. I dare to say that this eyeshadows are better than the ones by M.A.C or Urban Decay, which tend to be my favourites.

Creo que esta paleta en particular es perfecta para crear looks para ojos verdes. Está dividida en dos cuartetos: uno con tonos verdes y otro con tonos bronces, ambos diseñados para crear un ojo ahumado perfecto. Los dos cuartetos traen tres sombras metalicas (una para el párpado móvil, otra para el pliegue, y una iluminadora) y otra mate más oscura para añadir más definición al ojo. Las sombras son totalmente cremosas, no sueltan polvo como hacen algunas sombras de mayor calidad, la pigmentación es increible, y los colores son simplemente preciosos. Son muy fáciles de difuminar y se pueden crear transiciones muy limpias sin perder para nada la intensidad del color. Creo que los maquillajes más bonitos que he hecho han sido utilizando esta paleta. Me atrevo a decir que las sombras tienen una calidad mucho más superior a marcas como M.A.C o Urban Decay, que suelen ser mis favoritas.
